Since its launch in 2019, Eastside Golf has become one of Nike and Jordan Brand’s most influential collaborators in the golf space. Created by Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl Cooper to promote inclusivity within the sport, the label has been responsible for transforming several iconic Jordan silhouettes into course-ready footwear. After teaming up with Nike last year on the Air Max 1 and the Air Zoom Victory Tour 3, the partnership is ready for its next chapter.
The upcoming “Take Flight” collection was previewed by pro golfer @mattkang and represents the brand’s ongoing mission to showcase golf’s growth and evolution. The pack features two distinct models:
-
Nike Zoom Victory Tour 4 – arriving in a crisp white and soft baby blue palette, highlighted by script-style East side Golf branding inside the Swoosh and a stitched logo on the heel.
-
Air Max Plus Golf – a reimagined version of Sean McDowell’s 1998 classic. The design introduces retro-style TPU overlays spelling “East side” in a playful ’70s font. Dressed in tonal blues with metallic accents and golden lace tips, the shoe carries a durable outsole tailored for all course conditions.
Although official release details are still under wraps, the use of “University Blue” nods to Jordan Brand’s deep ties to North Carolina — also the birthplace of the Wright brothers’ legendary first flight. Early indications point toward a summer 2025 launch, with updates expected to surface soon.
