While silhouettes like the Air Max 95 and the futuristic Air Max have commanded much of the spotlight this year, the Nike Air Max Plus continues its steady run as a dependable lifestyle staple. High-profile collaborations such as the Doernbecher Air Max Plus and the upcoming One Piece editions are set to push the model further in 2026, but Nike is also maintaining its rhythm of strong general releases that have defined the TN’s longevity.
One such entry is the Nike Air Max Plus “Black/University Gold/University Red,” which departs from the tropical cues traditionally associated with the model. A stealthy black base serves as the canvas, allowing the signature TPU overlays to shine through a fiery red-to-yellow gradient. The same heat-driven palette carries onto the split midfoot shank, reinforcing the aggressive aesthetic while staying true to the Tuned Air DNA.
The Nike Air Max Plus “Black/University Gold” is expected to arrive through standard Nike retail channels in Spring 2026, priced at $185. Official images are available now.
